Joe Felice, a seasoned and accomplished restaurateur, and son, James Beard-nominated chef, Robbie Felice, form the dynamic duo that is leaving an indelible mark on the restaurant industry. In 2016, the Felice duo joined forces, assuming the roles of executive chefs and partners to launch Viaggio in Wayne, NJ. Their collaborative efforts swiftly gained recognition for farm-to-table cuisine, inventive plating, and exceptional service. The success of Viaggio led to their second venture, Osteria Crescendo in Westwood, NJ, a modern culinary gem featuring a comprehensive cocktail program and an Italian-focused wine list. Both establishments consistently rank among the top 25 in New Jersey, earning accolades and maintaining a strong presence in the state's culinary scene.
The journey doesn't end there. The Felice duo is now venturing into a new project, "Bar Mutz," promising fresh and innovative additions to their already impressive culinary portfolio. Looking forward, the Felice family envisions expanding their influence in the hospitality industry, strategically planning the launch of future establishments.
